assuming we’re working on a billion is 1,000,000,000 (only because my calculator cant deal with anymore digits for me to work out using the original and british way ) that would work out at 8.64×10 to the power of -5 seconds each.
alternatively, a billion phone calls, at 1 per second would take you 1902.5875 years to complete..
thats alot of phone calls

crash-fest on toca race driver

found something interesting with toca race driver 3 yesterday.
You need to choose the f1 racing with the bmw williams, and find adelaide circuit.
Set the handling to pro-sim (important!). Set the laps to 4 or 5, or more if you want a long race. Pitstops upto you. Start at the back of the race.
Go straight to the race, and then when you get round to the last but one corner (left hander, that you need to brake for). You will find most of the AI cars will crash and will be forced to pitstop. An easy way to win the race, and also quite fun passing all these broken AI cars going slowly. Just be careful not to be online with someone behind you going into the corner as you’ll be taken out 
This is on the ps2, so not sure if it happens on any other platform.

F3 and GT Photos from Oulton Park

I have published the photos i took at Oulton Park of the opening rounds of the British Formula 3 and GT Championships.
I think the photos have turned out quite well. Certaintly better than what i was expecting.

F1 2008 is nearly go go go

The Aussie GP is this weekend. One of the first of the major car series in motorsport to get underway. Hopefully it’ll be a cracker.
In the meantime, I’m waiting for the National series to get underway so i can get some photos in! First up should be the F3/GT at Oulton Park on Easter Bank Holiday Monday.

How to take photos….

Photo Guide
My guide to taking photos:
- Buy a camera.
- Take it out of the box.
- Throw away any instruction booklets. They are useless.
- Put battery in.
- Run back to the shop to buy a memory card.
- Put memory card in.
- Swap the memory card and battery over as you put them in the wrong place.
- Realise the camera isn’t working and throw it out the window.
- Quickly run outside and catch it as you’ve had a brilliant idea.
- Recharge the battery.
- Wait a bit. perhaps you can read a book, or watch tv, or maybe take the pet camel for a walk.
- Take out newly charged battery and put in camera.
- As you believe in bad luck, there is no step 13.
- Switch camera on.
- Swirl it around a bit as you now view the world through the camera lens.
- Fall over as you got dizzy.
- Pick yourself up and look around to check no-one is watching.
- Smile to yourself and laugh evily as you now hve a new toy in which you may be able to cause world domination.
- Put the kettle on and make youself a cup of tea.
- Take a picture of your pet camel and share with your imaginery friends with their pet camels.
